The upper half of this pen is made using a real 30.06 rifle shell that has previously been fired. This brass was cleaned and polished to a satin finish, no other coatings or finished added. Because this is real brass, it will develop a patina over time that will only serve to add to the beauty of the pen.
The lower portion of the pen was turned from real deer antler, which was then sealed and polished. A copper nib is the finishing touch.
This twist pen takes a Cross-style refill.
Note: No deer were taken solely for the antler used in this, or any pen I make. The antlers I use are sourced from ethical local hunters or from naturally dropped antlers found in the woods.
